Farm Bucks

2017 Farm Bucks registration is now closed!

This year, we are happy to debut our new Farm Bucks program. In addition to our CSA program, we have decided to offer this alternative way to purchase vegetables at a discount. Like a CSA, the Farm Bucks program allows you to help support our farm in the early part of the season by paying in advance for Farm Bucks to be used in the store during our long harvest season. Plus, they are worth more than the dollars you spend on them! Click here to learn more and register!

CSA (Community Supported Agriculture)

Our 2017 Vegetable CSA has started. We are still accepting pro-rated registrations!

Please read our Registration Form for more information or to sign-up.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Community Supported Agriculture?

CSA is a model that has been implemented by many small farms as a mutually beneficial partnership between the business and the consumer. The consumer purchases a share of the coming season's harvest. Typically, the share is paid for well in advance of the season. Consumers receive a good value for fresh, local vegetables and an enhanced relationship with their local farm. The farm receives income in the winter months when the seed, plant and supply bills are piling up and other farm income is minimal or non-existent. CSA also provides the farm an important avenue to supply product directly to the people eating it.

What is a CSA Share?

Vegetable CSA : One share is at least one half-bushel of Allandale Farm grown produce per week for 20 weeks beginning in early June. In your box, you will find a full representation of the crops we are harvesting at that point in the season.

When and where do I pick up my CSA Share?

Shares are picked-up at the farm on Tuesdays or Wednesdays - your choice - between 2PM-7PM.

Are there other benefits to being a CSA member?

Yes! Our cashiers will have your name on file so that you can receive 10% off all in-store purchases on your weekly pick-up day. You will also receive a weekly CSA newsletter with crop and farm information, recipes and more. Join our email list to receive notification of CSA and other farm news.

What will I receive in my share?

Each week, you'll receive a diverse array of fresh vegetables representative of what we are harvesting from our fields. Your share might include seasonal combinations of...

Arugula, beans, beets, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, cucumbers, eggplant, fennel, garlic and garlic scapes, greens, herbs, leeks, lettuce, new potatoes, okra, onions, sweet and hot peppers, radishes, scallions, spinach, spring lettuce mix, summer squash, summer turnips, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, tomatillios, watermelon, winter squash, and zucchini.
