Story Time on the Hill
Every Wednesday and Sunday, June-September

Join us Wednesdays and Sundays from June-September on the farm for story time. Free!


Saturday June 3rd
10am-11:30am
Have fun exploring the farm while you gather the many natural treasures found in our environment. We supply the scavenger list and all the tools you will need to collect each item. Bring back all the fun found and create your very own nature prize to take home. Tickets are $20 per child, and space is limited.

1pm-2:30pm
Join Emily, our master treasure hunter, on a quest to discover Allandale's hidden wonders. We supply the map, riddles, and scavenger list plus all the tools you will need to collect each item. Bring back all the fun found and create your very own nature prize to take home. Tickets are $20 per child, and space is limited. 

Make a Butterfly Feeder for Dad, All Ages
Saturday, June 17th
10am-2pm
Come to the farm to create a special treat for your dad and the garden. We provide all the supplies for you to create a beautiful hanging butterfly feeder. $15 per feeder. 


Foraging

The Greater Boston area is home to over 150 species of edible wild plants, many of which are more nutritious and/or flavorful than their cultiavted counterparts. Join Russ Cohen, expert forager and author of "Wild Plants I Have Known...and Eaten", on a 2-hour ramble through Allandale Farm to learn about at least two dozen species of edible wild plants. $25 per participant, and space is limited.
Friends on the Farm

Every Wednesday 
2pm-6:30pm, year-round
We spell fish F-R-E-S-H when Bobby's on the farm!  Stop by to pick up the daily catch.

The third Wednesday of every month 
2pm-6:00pm
Patti specializes in hand sharpening kitchen knives, both serrated and straight edge, as well as other tools. Look for her mobile workshop in our parking lot.
