Allandale Farm’s Farmstand features our own fresh picked produce as well as a wide variety of other locally produced goods. From New England-made cheeses to locally roasted coffee, we pull from the region’s best small food producers to provide an array of exceptional foods for our customers.
Allandale Farm Harvest
Throughout the growing season, we offer a beautiful selection of fresh vegetables and fruits, grown right outside our farmstand’s door. Everything from tomatoes to artichokes, greens to sweet potatoes, hot peppers to melons and more are harvested and washed every morning, giving our produce a freshness that’s hard to find anywhere else. That freshness provides for more flavor, higher nutritional value, and prolonged shelf life at your home. Though we’ve chosen to forgo organic certification, we grow all our own produce using sustainable and traditional organic farming practices.
We can’t grow everything, so we work in partnership with other local growers to bring you the best our region has to offer. Rhubarb, strawberries, peaches, apricots, apples and more are brought in to the farmstand by some of our favorite farms in the region. Not sure where something is from? Just ask us! We’ll tell you the rich story behind your food.
Other Food Partners
As the local food movement grows, a wide variety of small food producers are springing up across New England. Nothing gets us more excited than working with the small businesses that are helping to preserve New England foodways, and who are bringing new and innovative ideas to how our food system works.
Our dairy case is filled with glass bottles of milk from Thatcher Farm, yogurt from Sidehill Farm and a selection of some of our favorite cheeses from New England like Plymouth and Blue Ledge Farm. We also offer a selection of fresh pasta and sauces from Valicenti Organico, fresh bread from Clear Flour Bakery, pies from Ever So Humble Pie, chips and torillas from La Niña, coffee from Red Eye Roasters and much, much more.
We can’t wait for you to visit our farmstand. Come say hello and discover all we have to offer.
See you at the farm!
