Fresh on the farm
Spring has finally arrived!
We are fully stocked with perennials and annuals from our greenhouses, and spring flowering shrubs from locals growers. Outside we've got spring vegetable starts, plus pansies, primrose, ranunculus, and more. Inside you'll find succulents and ferns, plus an abundance of yummy, local treats and produce. Register now to join us this Saturday for Christie Dustman's Pruning Workshop. And this just in: The farm is featured in the spring issue of Edible Boston. Check it out and see you on the farm!

RESPECT FOR THE LAND
Our growing practices are deeply linked to our role as land stewards and neighbors. We are committed to agricultural practices that prioritize the long term health of our land, employees and customers. We rely on methods that improve soil health to combat weeds, disease, and pests. We use cover crop and we rotate crops. We use natural barriers, beneficial plants and insects, and disease resistant plant varieties. Herbicides and conventional pesticides? Nope. Not in our fields or our greenhouses.

Community Supported Agriculture
Each week, you'll receive a diverse array of fresh vegetables representative of what we are harvesting from our fields. Your share might include seasonal combinations, such as arugula, beans, beets, broccoli, brussel sprouts, carrots, cauliflower, cucumbers, eggplant, fennel, garlic, greens, herbs, leeks, lettuce, new potatoes, onions, radishes, scallions, spinach, and spring lettuce mix.
Discounts on the Season's Best
With Farm Bucks you can help support the farm in the early part of the season while getting a discount on fresh produce in season. You pay in advance for Bucks to be used on Allandale Farm produce and field cut flowers. The Farm Bucks are worth more than the dollars you spend on them. It’s like a CSA share, but with total freedom of choice. That’s a classic win-win, right there.
Outdoor Fun for Ages 4-10
Our Outdoor Summer Program gives children ages 4-10 a comprehensive exposure to outdoor fun and learning on a working farm. We focus our education efforts on gardening, composting, bird and plant identification, walking, farm animals and outdoor games in the natural environment of our farm. Fun and engaging, we offer both regular and extended day programs.
