Our Outdoor Summer Program gives children ages 4-12 a comprehensive exposure to outdoor fun and learning on a working farm in the city. We focus our education efforts on gardening, composting, bird and plant identification, exploring, farm animals and outdoor games in the natural environment of our farm.

The curriculum is guided by trained outdoor education teachers and assistants using the full range of natural amenities found at Allandale Farm. Children receive individual, developmentally appropriate attention in age-level groups. Your child will have new experiences to share every day.

Sessions begin at 8:45am and run until 12pm or 2:45pm with an option for extended day until 4pm. Early drop-off is also available. While one week sessions are available, we recommend signing-up for at least two weeks as the longer time frame allows your child to become thoroughly acclimated and comfortable in our unique outdoor environment.
