We are looking for interested chefs (aspiring or actual) to fire-up those pots and join the contest. The first prize winner will receive bragging rights and $100 in farm bucks. Other prizes will be awarded to worthy runners-up. The Farmstand is brimming with at least ten varieties of our own chili peppers, if you're looking to hyper-localize your concoction. Please pre-register as space is limited to 15 participants.

There are many readily available medicine roots that offer the human body deep nourishment and vitality. Fall is the traditional time to unearth these underground botanical treasures and to incorporate them into our daily lives to help us stay strong and nourished throughout the winter months. In this fun and informative workshop we will discuss, taste, and experience several wild and cultivated medicinal roots such as burdock, dandelion, yellow dock, chicory and astragalus. You will learn about their medicinal value and how and when to use each at home. We will also sample a special root-based chai tea blend in class! $25 per participant and space is limited.
