Holiday season on the farm

Happy Fall…and what a beautiful one it’s been! While we will be fully stocked with fresh harvest throughout the month, October 31st will be the last day of our regular season this year. We will be closing our retail store as of November 1st and reopening for the holidays Thanksgiving week. Stay tuned for more holiday schedule details. We will occasionally have weekly Harvest Boxes, if our veggie supply is good!

This November break will give us much needed time to prepare simultaneously for the construction of our new store and for the busy holiday shopping weeks from late November to mid-December. While the permitting process is still underway with the City of Boston, we are moving forward at a good clip and hope to begin actual construction within a few months. In the meantime, join us for a hayride on Sundays in October, be on the lookout for our Thanksgiving pre-ordering, and get ready for Christmas under the tent this year with a full selection of greenery, trees and ornaments. Thanks to our wonderful customers for riding through this transitional year with our amazing team. It’s been a real pleasure.

Your farm in the city

At Allandale Farm, we are grounded in our commitment to the land, our community and our unique history. We are proud to connect Boston to its agricultural roots by sustainably growing plants and produce from seed to store. Our path forward is informed by the path we have travelled as we strive to maintain sustainable agricultural and business practices, to invest in our employees and to honor our heritage. By serving our community with events that entertain and educate and by inspiring our youth to be the next generation of stewards, we are your farm in the city.
