2025 Community Funded shares

This season we are excited to announce that we are continuing our Community Funded Share Program!

2025 CSA Members have generously contributed to support our mission to increase food accessibility. All funds donated will go towards providing reduced price 2025 CSA vegetable shares to community members who are in need of financial assistance. Please note that the CFS award cannot be applied to the “add-on” shares.

How were these shares funded?

Community members who signed up for a CSA share for the 2025 season also had the option to donate to our Community Funded Share Program. 100% of these donations go to providing reduced price shares.

How is Allandale Farm contributing to the Community Funded Share Program?

In addition to administering this new pilot program, Allandale Farm will be continuing our partnerships with other organizations working to end food insecurity, such as Rounding The Bases, Spoonfuls, and the Boston Area Gleaners.

How do I know if I am eligible?

If you are unable to afford our full cost CSA or our full cost payment plan but still would like access to fresh produce, you are welcome to apply! Please note we have a limited number of subsidized CSA shares available.

How much will a Community Funded Share cost?

There are four options for Community Funded Share members:

  • Share member covers 75% of the cost - $543.75

  • Share member covers 50% of the cost - $362.5

  • Share member covers 25% of the cost - $181.25

  • Share member is entirely supported by the Allandale Community - $0

What if I cannot reliably pick up my share at the farm during CSA pick up hours?

You’re welcome to send someone on your behalf! Just let them know to share your name with our staff upon pickup.
